Data Deletion Request

1. Who this applies to

This page explains how to ask Raw to Ready to delete personal data we hold about you, and what happens after you ask.

Raw to Ready is a sole proprietorship operated by Jay Ashar (legal name: Ashar Jay Nareshbhai), based at 202, Samyak, Summer Club Road, Jamnagar, Gujarat 361005, India. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What data this covers

Depending on how you have interacted with us, we may hold:

• Details you submitted through the automation audit tool or contact form on this website — your name, WhatsApp number, business type, and the information you provided about your manual work
• Messages you sent us on WhatsApp or email, and our replies
• Records relating to a project we delivered for you
• Business contact details collected from public sources, as described in section 3.3 of our Privacy Policy
• Website analytics associated with your visit

3. How to request deletion

Email rawtoreadyai@gmail.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Please include:

• Your full name
• The email address and WhatsApp number you used when you contacted us
• Confirmation that you are asking us to delete your personal data

We may ask one follow-up question to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not delete someone else's data by mistake.

4. What happens next

• We acknowledge your request within 7 working days of receiving it
• We complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity
• We email you to confirm once the deletion is done

5. What we delete

We delete your audit and enquiry submissions from our database, our message history with you, and any personal data held in our connected tools.

6. What we may keep, and why

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it, specifically:

• Invoices and client project records, which we retain for up to 8 years where required for tax and accounting purposes under Indian law
• A minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, so we can demonstrate we honoured it

Anything retained for these reasons is kept only for as long as the law requires and is not used for any other purpose.

7. Data held by third-party platforms

Some data may also sit with third-party platforms we use, including Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and Google. Deleting your data from our systems does not automatically delete it from those platforms. To remove data held by them, contact those platforms directly using their own data deletion processes.

8. If we hold your data as part of a client project

If we built or operate a system for a business client and your data sits inside that system, that business is responsible for it and we act on their instructions. In that case, please send your request to that business directly. If you are unsure who to contact, email us and we will point you to the right party.

9. Your other rights

Deletion is one of several rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can also ask what data we hold, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. These are set out in section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
